Westminster Homeless and Health

Coordination Project (HHCP)

Supporting homeless services and service users in Westminster

to increase health access and decrease health inequalities.

The Westminster Homeless Health Co-ordination Project (HHCP) started at the end of June 2015.
The HHCP works in collaboration with 14 homeless services across Westminster with the aim of improving health access and decrease health inequalities of those who are vulnerably/temporarily housed.

The HHCP identifies the health needs of service users within the borough and improves awareness amongst statutory health providers around the health and personal needs of this cohort. The project works with a multitude of services to raise the capacity of supported housing providers to support service users to improve their health outcomes through training, information, accessing health services and facilitating a range of health events.  The project is managed by one co-ordinator and supported by a team of volunteers.

As the HHCP co-ordinator it is my pleasure to welcome you to the official Westminster HHCP website. Here you will find a range of resources ranging from our annual tarining calendar to project reports and volunteer profiles.

If you have any questions, or would like to sign up for our e-newsletter, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Sign up for the Westminster HHCP e-newsletter to get up to date information on the project and health services that can support homeless users.
